"If love be rough with you, be rough with love"

Right before the party Benvolio, Romeo, and I had gone to the party desperately trying to get Romeos head out of his butt because of his unedifying love for Roseline. We thought that maybe coming to this party, we could broaden his choices by showing him other women that he actually can get. But this was no easy task we were outside of the party with our torches almost flickering out trying to get Romeo to see other women but the kid was so stubborn and said “ill go into the party, but not to look at other women, but the sole purpose of seeing Roseline again”. That’s when I told him "If love be rough with you, be rough with love" which I basically thought out to mean if love is going to make you miserable and give up on you like the case of Romeo where he loves a woman who is going to live a life of chaste (meaning she’s never going to loose her virginity or ever be with a man). So I thought if love has left you all miserable and sad why not make love all miserable and sad to return the favor and instead of living your life loving a woman neither you nor anyone else can get why not test the waters and see who else is out there.
